• Mike Whitmore Memorial Non-Pro Walk Trot/Jog Saddle Drawing. Each participant from both days will be entered in a drawing to win the saddle, everyone has a shot!
• Money Bag Classes – Each Open and Am. Perf Mare & Gelding participants will be able to reach into our money bag and hopefully pull out some big bucks.
• Flat screen TV giveaway – One exhibitor entry per class is eligible

2012 was another great year for KQHA thanks to those dedicated officers, directors and members that worked hard to bring you the best KQHA awards banquet and 5 day AQHA show, quickly becoming known in the north, south, east and west,
as the Keystone Showdown.

We have grown by leaps and bounds while in a depressed economy because of the support of the KQHA membership and the support of the sponsors and participants that travel far and wide to attend the annual Keystone Showdown in Centre Hall, PA.

While we reflect on 2012 with such gratitude, we are looking forward to 2013 as it presents us with the challenge of trying to keep growing as an association.  Plans are underway for our 2013 awards banquet to be held at the Watson Inn, Watsontown, PA on February 9, 2013.  We’ve adopted an “Awards Show” theme complete with the red carpet and flashing cameras. This years awards are our best ever and award winners will go home with many mementos to remind them of the good times they had participating in Keystone Showdown and KQHA banquet. Don’t forget to renew your membership for 2013, only 2013 members will be eligible to win a free Skeeters work saddle that will be given away at the banquet. You must be present at the
banquet to win!

We already set our dates and hired our judges and staff for the 2013 Keystone Showdown.  We will welcome the return of the “Hoedown at the Showdown” featuring
a chicken dinner and live music by the Jesse Wade Gang. KQHYA will be providing games and entertain for all. You never know what to expect at the Keystone Showdown. Our show committee already had new ideas and plans before the end of last years Showdown as to what they want to bring to the show this year. A few ideas have never been done at a horse show.  We pride ourselves on making the Showdown a fun experience for everyone while recognizing the seriousness and cost of showing horses.
There’s a time for work and a time for play and our motto is Work Hard, Show Hard, Party Harder!
