Welcome all new KQHA and KQHYA members! I am beyond excited to have been elected the KQHYA president for this upcoming show season. I plan on involving all youth this year with various events and fundraisers. The biggest show of this year is definitely the Keystone Showdown where we hope to involve all participants at the show and where Keystone Youth Members will be doing everything they can to make sure EVERYONE has a great time! At our youth meeting in February, the members who attended decided on a few activities for this years Showdown. They include the following: A Mock/Open Show, Egg and Balloon Toss, Golf Cart Trail, Doggy Trail, 50/50, and the auctioning of baskets. What days these events will be held will be announced on a later date. Our biggest fundraiser of this year will be the selling of chocolate bars! Youth who attended the meeting in February are all selling Gertrude Hawk candy bars for 2$. If anyone would like to purchase any candy bars feel free to contact me! I would also like to congratulate my fellow officers for this year: Tyler Kawtoski as Vice President, Kylie Good as Secretary, Abby Hetrick as Treasurer, Kaitlyn Good, Leah Burgess, Sarah Gensel, Tayler Murphy, and Taylor Hennigan are all board members. I am hoping everyone has a fantastic show season and lots of success. Lets keep The Keystone Quarter Horse Association a great one!Julia
